Ormeau Community Church
Ormeau Community Church, founded in 2004, is a contemporary, family orientated church that functions in a non-denominational manner.
Our passion, as a church, is to be an intimate and loving community of deep and satisfying relationships focused on reaching out into the wider community with the good news of new life in Jesus. We long to see all people living in the enjoyment of sincere worship, learning and growing in their relationship with God, and becoming active and involved in God’s work.
Our vision is "growing in community” reflecting our desire to be involved in and to bless our local community. Please let us know if we can help you in any way.
We meet each Sunday, 10am at the Ormeau Youth and Community Centre, 3 Cuthbert Dr, Ormeau (next to Coles).
Activities we offer include Chaplaincy, Children’s Church (run at the same time as our Sunday Service), Youth Group, Bible Studies and Ladies and Mens Ministries.
OCC is partnering with our local school communities by providing a chaplaincy service at Norfolk Village State Primary School and Ormeau Woods State High School. The chaplaincy service is provided free of charge to these schools and is supporting the student, parent and staff communities.

For a fun, interactive and exciting Sunday morning why not send the kids to Children’s Church?
Children's Church is a place where children between the ages of 3 and 14 are taught how to have a relationship with God.
Children have the opportunity to learn from the Bible, pray, worship God, make friends, play games and create things in a supportive and structured environment.
Parents are welcome to stay for our morning service or join us for morning tea at 11:30am
Children's Church is split up into the following age groups:
Lambs: 3 – 6 years
Lions: 7 – 10 years
Teen Class: 11 – 14 years
Youth Group is an awesome way to meet new people, hang out with friends, and chillax after a long week at school!
Each week we have a lot of laughs and still find time to talk about real life issues like identity, friendships, life skills and faith!
Come hang out with your friends, share life, experience God, talk and pray, laugh and chillax.
